The legendary poet who is celebrated as the traditional author of the epic RAMAYANA. He is revered as Ādi Kavi, the first poet, author of Ramayana, the first epic poem. He himself played an important role in Uttara Kanda in Ramayana.
Traditionally regarded as the author of the epic Mahābhārata. He is also regarded as the author of the eighteen Purāṇas and the Brahma Sutras. He divided the Vedas into 4 and hence popularly known as Veda Vya
